Terms of Service — NearMatch

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NearMatch app. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use NearMatch. By signing up, you affirmatively confirm you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate. We may verify this through an optional AI-based selfie check.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or misrepresent your identity, age, or photos.
One account per person. Accounts found to be fake, duplicated, or used for spam may be removed.

Acceptable use

When using NearMatch, you agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Post sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate photos.
Use the app for commercial solicitation, advertising, or spam.
Attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape data, or access the service through unauthorized automation.
Create a profile that misrepresents your age, identity, or intentions.

Violations may be reported by other users and reviewed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Blocking and reporting

NearMatch provides tools to block and report other users. Blocking a user prevents future matches or messages between you and them. Reports are reviewed and may result in account action against the reported user.

Content you share

You retain ownership of the photos, bio, and messages you post. By posting content, you grant NearMatch the limited right to display it to other users as part of normal app functionality (for example, showing your photo to people you match with).

No guarantee of matches or outcomes

NearMatch provides a platform for meeting people. We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, or the accuracy of other users' profiles, and we are not responsible for interactions that occur outside the app.

Termination

You may stop using NearMatch and request account deletion at any time through our Support page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

NearMatch is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including interactions with other users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
